Refund policy
REFUND, RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Due to the seasonal holiday nature of our items, we do not allow returns of items purchased between the holiday seasonal dates of October 1st through January 31st. Items purchased during the holiday seasonal dates that arrive damaged or malfunctioning can be returned for exchange only. Please contact our support team via the Contact page of our website or at support@laserchristmaslights.com to receive an RMA to exchange a damaged or malfunctioning item. Once an RMA is issued the item(s) must be dropped off for shipment with the designated carrier within 3 days. Items not dropped off with our designated carrier within three days will incur a 15% re-stocking fee. Our policy is to send an exchange replacement for a damaged or malfunctioning item only after the original purchased item has been received at our designated return shipping location. If you need the replacement sooner, you will have the option to purchase a replacement immediately in order for it to ship as soon as possible, and receive a refund when the damaged or malfunctioning item being returned for the exchange is received.
For orders placed during the off-holiday season between February 1st and September 30th, they may be returned for a refund within 14 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in new condition. It must also be re-packed in the original packaging that has been kept in new condition. There is a 25% surcharge and re-packaging fee if not all the original components are returned and/or are returned damaged and/or not re-packaged in original new condition. Shipping charges are factored into the pricing of our products, therefore, refunds for non-damaged or malfunctioning returned items are issued less original shipping charges and any charges for pre-paid return shipping labels. Please contact our support team via the Contact page of our website or at support@laserchristmaslights.com to receive an RMA for a return. Once an RMA is issued the item(s) must be dropped off for shipment with the designated carrier within 3 days. Items not dropped off with the designated carrier within three days will incur a 15% re-stocking fee, this may be in addition to the 25% surcharge and re-packaging fee if applicable.
SALE, CLOSE-OUT AND REFURBISHED ITEMS
Only regular priced items purchased during the off-holiday season may be returned for refund according to the above policy. Sale, Close Out and Refurbished items are not eligible for refund and can only be returned for an exchange if damaged or malfunctioning upon receipt.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES FOR GIFTS
If the item was a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, it may be returned or exchanged according to the above policies based on the purchase dates. Once the returned item is received, a credit will be issued to you for an exchange item. If the item is being returned, a credit will be issued to the original source used to purchase the item, and in accordance with the above policies. Please contact our support team via the Contact page of our website or at support@laserchristmaslights.com to receive an RMA for a gift return or exchange.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE SHIPPING
You may be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a prepaid postage label for a return, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund. All items shipped as an exchange will be shipped via our standard shipping option (at the time of exchange) for newly purchased items.
If you are shipping an item on your own, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check credit card account again. It frequently takes 5 to 10 days from the time we issues a refund until a refund is officially posted to your account. If over 10 days have passed since the return items have been received and processed for refund, please contact us at via our Contact page or support@laserchristmaslights.com.
