Protect the connection!

As stated throughout our website, our laser projector housings are IP65 rated and 100% watertight against the outdoor elements such as rain, snow, dust etc.

However, the connection between the power supply and an extension cord or wall outlet is considered "unprotected" and must be properly secure against rain and other outdoor elements.  As with any outdoor electrical connection, water can seep in between the power supply and the extension cord or wall outlet over time and cause a short in the power supply making it fail.  

Therefore, we recommend purchasing an "outdoor waterproof power cord case" or simply make your own using a strong zip lock baggie and tape to closed as best you can.
